Stackable Learning Modules for Green and Digital Mobility Skills

The TRIREME project offers a growing portfolio of free, practical online courses designed as stackable learning modules to support skills development for the green and digital transitions in the mobility sector.

Rather than standalone courses, TRIREME modules are conceived as flexible learning building blocks. They can be combined, integrated, and adapted to different education and training contexts, enabling organisations and learners to create tailored learning pathways.

Modular learning for diverse target groups

Universities and Higher Education

TRIREME modules can be plugged into existing curricula as thematic units, optional modules, or interdisciplinary components within Bachelor, Master, or PhD programmes. This modular approach allows universities to update curricula rapidly in response to emerging technological and sustainability challenges without redesigning entire courses.

Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Training Providers

Training providers can combine TRIREME modules into customised training pathways for technicians, engineers, and managers. The modular format supports flexible upskilling and reskilling programmes aligned with industry needs and evolving mobility technologies.

Industry and Corporate Training

Companies can use TRIREME modules as building blocks for corporate learning programmes, supporting workforce development in areas such as automation, sustainability, innovation management, and digital transformation. Modules can be selected and combined according to organisational priorities and skill gaps.

Lifelong Learners

Students, jobseekers, and professionals can build personalised learning journeys, starting from fundamental technical topics and progressing to advanced innovation and sustainability skills. The modular design supports continuous learning and career development across the mobility value chain.

A growing portfolio of mobility-focused modules

The TRIREME course portfolio currently includes modules on sustainable electronics and manufacturing, environmental management, innovation and strategic intelligence, change management, Automotive SPICE® 4.0, automation fundamentals, and electricity fundamentals. Each module has been co-created by European universities, research centres, and industry experts to ensure relevance, practicality, and alignment with real-world needs.

Additional modules are currently under development and will be released in the coming months, further expanding the range of technical, managerial, and innovation-focused learning opportunities available through TRIREME.

By offering stackable, interoperable learning units, TRIREME contributes to building a flexible European learning ecosystem that supports the green and digital transformation of the mobility sector.
