The Automotive Skills Alliance is an association dedicated to advancing and enhancing skills within the automotive-mobility sector. Comprising industry stakeholders, training and educational institutions, social partners, regions, and other members. The alliance focuses on addressing the evolving needs of the automotive-mobility sector. By fostering partnerships and implementing targeted training programs, ASA seeks to bridge skills gaps, promote innovation, and ensure a highly skilled workforce. Through strategic coordination and shared expertise, the Automotive Skills Alliance plays a vital role in shaping the future of skilled professionals within the automotive sector.

ACEA is a European association of vehicle manufacturers covering in practice all OEMs in the EU. It represents the interests of the industry towards the European institutions and is the key stakeholder in all the areas related to the automotive industry – industrial policy, climate and energy policies and transport policy. ACEA also coordinates inputs and the perspectives of the automotive sector where due to the subsidiarity principle the key competences are in the hands of the member states – like education and social policy. ACEA belongs to the essential partners to the European Commission when preparing legislative and non-legislative initiatives in the areas relevant to the industrial policy and automotive sector at all.

CECRA is the European umbrella organisation regrouping national automotive trade associations and European brand dealer councils. Its mission is to monitor policies affecting the automotive distribution and repair sector, advocate the interest of authorised dealers, agents and repairers before the EU regulatory bodies, build up alliances with other European stakeholders and identify and share new business opportunities, practices and trends.

CLEPA is a leading organisation representing the interests of automotive suppliers in Europe. With a diverse membership that includes a wide range of companies involved in the automotive supply chain, CLEPA serves as a powerful advocate and collaborator within the industry. The association is committed to fostering innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness in the automotive sector. CLEPA plays a crucial role in promoting dialogue between suppliers, policymakers, and other stakeholders, working towards the development of policies that support the growth and resilience of the European automotive supply industry. 

ETRMA is a prominent organisation that represents the interests of the tire and rubber industry in Europe. ETRMA serves as a unified voice for its member companies, which include leading tire manufacturers and rubber producers. The association actively engages with policymakers, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to advocate for policies that promote innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness within the industry. ETRMA plays a crucial role in addressing issues related to tire safety, environmental impact, and regulatory compliance. Through its initiatives, ETRMA aims to shape a sustainable and forward-looking future for the industry, emphasising safety, environmental responsibility, and economic viability.

VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava was founded in 1849, and has since grown into a modern institution of higher learning. Ostrava has long been a hub of major industry in central Europe, and study and research at VŠB-TUO is informed by historically close ties with major international companies, as well as by joint research and mobility programmes with university partners the world over. VŠB-TUO is the fourth largest university in the Czech Republic with over 20,000 students studying in bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs in seven faculties and two all-University study programmes. VŠB-TUO has more than 2,500 employees.

Set up in 1962, Ceemet is the European employers’ organisation representing the interests of the metal, engineering and technology-based (MET) industries with a particular focus on topics in the areas of employment, social affairs, industrial relations, health & safety and education & training. Ceemet members are national employers’ federations across Europe and beyond based in 20 countries. They represent more than 200,000 member companies, a vast majority of which are SMEs. Ceemet members provide direct and indirect employment for around 35 million people. Together, the companies of the MET industries make up Europe’s largest industrial sector, both in terms of employment levels and added value, and are therefore essential to ensuring Europe’s economic prosperity.

The Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation (Wirtschaftsförderung Region Stuttgart GmbH or ‘WRS’) sees itself as a central contact for companies in the City of Stuttgart and the five neighbouring districts. Through its work, WRS raises awareness of the qualities the Stuttgart Region offers and uses numerous projects and offerings to promote the location’s economic development. WRS was founded in 1995. It is a publicly owned corporation that is a subsidiary of Verband Region Stuttgart and also has other shareholders.

In 2003 ISCN GesmbH in Graz was founded as a SW and consultancy office working with leading Automotive, electronics, and software industry and closely collaborating with teams at the universities in Graz (TU Graz, FH Joanneum). An ISCN Group was formed in 2010 with more sites joining from Vienna (Austria) and Grenoble (France). ISCN experts have experience with Automotive engineering standards and ISCN GesmbH moderates a German working party of Tier 1 in Automotive and electronic industry of innovation task forces since 2003 (kicked off by the Bavarian SW initiative, www.soqrates.de).

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Maribor (UM FERI) is one of the leading teaching and research institutions in the field of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Slovenia.

Newton University is a private university founded in 2004 and based in the Czech Republic, specialising in teaching management, psychology and economics. The university offers a wide range of accredited undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programmes using modern equipment and technology. In terms of numbers, Newton University has around 60 staff members and 200 external staff members, who are primarily lecturers at the school. The number of students in 2023 exceeded the two thousand five hundred mark. Compared to other universities, Newton University lays great emphasis on the link between theory and practice.

HETEL is integrated by 32 VET schools located in the Basque Country. Since 1987 they have been working with enthusiasm, cooperation, integrity and solidarity with the aim to improve, give prestige and lead VET from a social commitment approach, to favour its school's network, the people that participate in the VET system, companies and society in general, from a local perspective but with an international focus.

Founded in 1967, SERNAUTO, the Spanish Association of Automotive Suppliers, is the voice of the sector representing the interests of its member companies before public administrations and public and private institutions, both Spanish and international, the main liaison for discussing and defining industrial policies and strategies and the meeting and networking point for all types of member companies. 

East Automotive Alliance (EAA) was established in 2015. Currently the cluster has 32 members. The aim of EAA is to create conditions conducive to the development of the automotive industry. EAA supports the industrial and economic activities of its members and cooperates with schools and universities to improve the quality of education in terms of its adaptation to the industry market requirements. EAA is a member of the European Automotive Cluster Network and the Automotive Skills Alliance. EAA actively participated in the DRIVES project as the only cluster from Poland. Furthermore, EAA is a creator and leader of projects such as PAMISZ (Podkarpackie Academy of Automotive - Innovative Vocational Education) and "A model of cooperation between a vocational school and industry’s organisation". Since March 2020, EAA has been the Operator of the Tarnobrzeg Industrial and Technology Park, together with Tarnobrzeg Regional Development Agency S.A.

Mobinov is a platform aggregating knowledge and competence within the automotive industry to promote a growing appreciation of the competitiveness and internationalisation of the sector. It aims to contribute to transforming Portugal into a reference in research, innovation, design, development, manufacture and testing of products and services in the automotive industry.

ATEC is a non-profit private association, established in 2003, with the promoters and founding members, Volkswagen Autoeuropa, Siemens, Bosch and CCILA (Portuguese-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry), which celebrated with the Portuguese State, a cooperation agreement. The constitution of ATEC was based on the need to create an organisation that would contribute significantly to increasing the qualifications/professional skills available in Portugal and, consequently, to increase the quality and productivity of the business while providing high levels of employability.

The EuroSPI conference series, established in 1994, stands as a prominent event within the realm of System, Software, Services Process, and Product Improvement and innovation. With significant contributions from both industry leaders and top-tier researchers, it has solidified its position as a leading forum. In 2003, the SOQRATES working group, comprising influential members from the German and Austrian industry, was initiated. The EuroSPI academy, inaugurated in 2020 and inspired by the EU Blueprint project DRIVES, has witnessed rapid growth. In just a year, it has trained hundreds of individuals, and on the DRIVES learning portal, over 2000 MOOC trainees have engaged with the content. All initiatives are now under one umbrella, forming a comprehensive European strategy. This unified approach aims to create a cohesive and synergistic force, amplifying the impact of efforts across the European landscape.

SFC - Sistemi Formativi Confindustria is a joint stock consortium providing comprehensive training and assistance services to companies. Confindustria, the foremost association advocating for companies in Italy's social dialogue, holds the majority of shares in SFC. Operating on European, national, and local platforms, SFC is committed to fostering the Confindustria Association System. SFC's mission includes promoting the development of companies including micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises by enhancing their opportunities for growth and competitiveness through adherence to the digital and green transition.

VAMIA is a non-profit organisation run by the City of Vaasa. It is a multidisciplinary vocational education organisation with approx. 7000 students per year (3000 full time) and is the largest VET organisation in the region. VAMIA is offering vocational education and further vocational education at EQF level 4 to youth (16-19 years), to adults and to working life. VAMIA offers programs in Finnish, Swedish and English and is offering a wide range of services with a focus on supporting lifelong learning. Vaasa also hosts the largest energy cluster in Northern Europe.
