TRIREME Partners Convene in Cluj-Napoca to Advance Skills Intelligence and Training Strategy
On 22 April 2026, the TRIREME consortium gathered in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, for the first day of its partnership meeting, bringing together partners from across Europe to review progress and align on next steps.
The day opened with a comprehensive project status update, covering overall progress across all Work Packages and key administrative aspects. This was followed by an interactive dissemination and impact session, where each partner shared ongoing and planned activities, reinforcing the project’s collective outreach and stakeholder engagement.
A central focus of the day was the advancement of Skills Intelligence (WP2 & WP3). Partners reviewed progress on sectoral skills analysis, including desk research, surveys, and workshops, alongside updates to the Competence Matrix and the Sectoral Skills Strategy. Discussions emphasised how to effectively identify emerging skills needs and translate them into actionable insights for stakeholders.
In the afternoon, attention shifted to the development of the TRIREME training offer (WP4), including modules, learning paths, and the Pan-European Academy (Skills Hub). Partners explored how skills intelligence can be transformed into practical, accessible training solutions that support workforce upskilling across Europe.
Further sessions addressed regional roll-out activities (WP5), highlighting collaboration mechanisms, implementation challenges, and early achievements, as well as social elements (WP6), including the organisation of regional workshops and the development of policy recommendations.
The day concluded with a wrap-up session summarising key insights and reinforcing the importance of aligning technical progress with dissemination, impact, and stakeholder engagement.
