Skills (R)evolution Conference 2026 to Gather Europe’s Skills and Automotive Leaders
The Skills (R)evolution Conference 2026 will take place on 21 April 2026 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, bringing together key stakeholders from industry, education, policy, and regional innovation ecosystems to discuss the future of skills in Europe.
The programme will open with a high-level discussion on skills as a driver of Europe’s innovation and competitiveness. This will be followed by two panel debates exploring workforce transformation across the automotive value chain and the alignment between national and European policy efforts supporting skills development.
In the afternoon, the focus will shift to TRIREME’s sectoral skills strategy, offering insights from the project and highlighting practical developments and emerging initiatives. The sessions will also showcase broader advancements in the automotive and mobility sectors, providing participants with a comprehensive view of current trends and challenges.
The conference will conclude with regional good practice examples from Romania, presenting initiatives that support the development of green and digital skills, competitiveness, and innovation within regional ecosystems.
Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in a forward-looking discussion and take part in dedicated networking opportunities, including a gala dinner.
