TRIREME is pleased to announce the release of the first set of TRIREME Skills Cards, a milestone in supporting the automotive sector’s transition toward a greener, more digital, and more resilient future.
The Skills Cards offer a structured and practical way to understand how professional roles in the automotive industry are evolving in response to digitalisation, sustainability, and new business models. Each card outlines key responsibilities and maps competences across green, digital, transversal, soft, and sector-specific skills, providing an overview of the expertise required in emerging occupations.
To make it easier for users to navigate, TRIREME has created a summary for each Skills Card, giving a quick snapshot of the job role before exploring the full version in the downloadable Skills Card PDF.
As these profiles are draft versions, TRIREME invites all stakeholders — including companies, education and training providers, policymakers, and professionals — to contribute their insights. Feedback can be submitted directly through the feedback button on the Skills Cards webpage. Inputs will help refine and validate the profiles, ensuring they accurately reflect the evolving needs of the automotive sector.
Developed through a robust, collaborative process — combining data analysis, AI-supported profiling, expert review, and alignment with European frameworks (EQF and ESCO) — the Skills Cards embody TRIREME’s commitment to anticipating skills needs and supporting workforce adaptation.
Discover the TRIREME Skills Cards, explore the emerging roles, and share your feedback to help shape the future of automotive skills.
