TRIREME Milan Meeting Day 2: From Dissemination to Impact

The second day of the TRIREME consortium meeting in Milan, held on 8 October, put a strong focus on impact, stakeholder action and the sustainability of project results as the project moves towards its final phase.

The day began with a session on Regional Roll-out. Partners reviewed progress and discussed the Regional Skills Partnership, including opportunities to strengthen regional exploitation of TRIREME results. Discussions also addressed stakeholder contacts, existing challenges and opportunities for use, as well as the collection and sharing of best practices.

The meeting then continued with a practical workshop, “From Dissemination to Impact: Turning TRIREME Results into Stakeholder Action”. Partners explored how dissemination and stakeholder engagement can lead to concrete use of TRIREME results before the end of the project.

Working in groups, participants identified priority stakeholders, relevant TRIREME results and existing access points, and developed concrete actions to encourage stakeholders to use and integrate the project’s results. The exercise provided an opportunity to move from simply reaching stakeholders towards creating clear pathways to action, uptake and impact.

An administrative session followed, covering budget and administrative matters, before the meeting concluded with a wrap-up and discussion of the next steps for the partnership.

Across the two days in Milan, partners reviewed progress across the project, exchanged experiences and focused increasingly on how TRIREME results can be used, recognised and sustained beyond the project lifetime.
